Breeding dogs is not only a pleasure and a great joy, but it also involves an enormous responsibility towards ourselves and our own dogs, and especially towards those who buy one of our puppies, with whom they will share a large part of their life.
Starting my experience as an amateur breeder I’m trying to stick to the right path, by carefully selecting, abroad too if necessary, subjects with breed-standard morphological and aptitudinal features.
Balance is, in fact, the most important quality of a dog, even more important than its external appearance.
That is why I came to love two breeds that, despite being created for different reasons, share the same poise and intelligence: the Hovawart and the Golden Retriever.
